SNIP LONDON | PERSONAL WORK

As a photographer, I’m always on the lookout for where I can use my skills and blend them with my real life experience.

In the heart of Southeast London a new barbershop opened on my highstreet that redefined the grooming experience. A far cry from the churn and burn barbershops I grew up visiting, where you would sit waiting for your turn in the chair only to end up with a completely different haircut to what you asked for. Run by the talented duo Sin and Has, SNIP isn’t just about haircuts—it’s about creating a welcoming space where every client feels valued.

Inspired by the exceptional service and ambiance, I approached Sin and Has with the idea of a shoot: to document the essence of SNIP through portraits and environmental shots.
The result? A series of photographs that showcase:
• The skill and precision of the barbers at work
• Candid moments of client interactions
• The unique, inviting interior of the shop
• Hero portraits to showcase the faces behind the business

This project allowed me to merge my love for photography with the storytelling aspect of a local business making a difference in their community.
