THE LOST FRINGE

A personal project shot during the summer of 2020.
For the previous 12 years every summer I had relocated to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival. Photographing artists and their work. 2020 was going to be different. There was no Fringe happening, at least not in any physical sense. I wanted to document this landmark occasion in some way and so The Lost Fringe project was born.
Over four weeks i photographed 27 acts in various locations across the UK. Imagining what it would look like for the artists and their characters to be stuck at home like everyone else.
The series resulted in brilliant collaborations and garnered alot of Press coverage when it was released to coincide with the dates the Fringe would have been taking place.
